The Regional Manager – Australia & New Zealand is responsible for designing and implementing the strategy to steer the company towards continued growth and increased profitability in the region while ensuring Ultradent’s vision, mission and key objectives are achieved.
You will also be tasked with overseeing the activities and performance of your team by setting individual targets and priorities, tracking their performance, and facilitating the ongoing training of the team on products, sales techniques, and best practices.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop the business of Ultradent products within the territory based on pre-established targets
- Manage team of Territory Managers, including recruiting, target setting, training, and performance coaching
- Provide forecasts, yearly budget, and business plans for the region
- Identify, engage with and support distribution partners to make the assortment of Ultradent products competitively available in the region
- Meet with dental professionals to discuss their evolving needs and assess the quality of our company’s relationship with them
- Track competitors’ activities to identify threats and opportunities for growth
- Provide training and technical support about Ultradent products and best-selling practices to customers and distribution partners’ Sales teams
- Manage relationships and strategies within dental schools, government hospitals and corporate groups to identify business growth opportunities
- Help identify and support Key Opinion Leaders to advocate for Ultradent
- Oversee the organisation of regional and national trade shows and events
- Travel within and outside the territory as needed to perform role and represent region at international team events
- Manage usage of CRM platform and provide feedback to keep it up-to-date and relevant to the company’s business
- Coordinate with Marketing department about promotions and regional needs
- Supervise after-sales customer support activities such as concerns & repairs
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience within Dental, Medical Device or Small Equipment sales is ideal
- Successful experience with Sales Management of 3+ years
- Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation
- Energetic, self-driven, results-oriented individual with a positive outlook and clear focus on high quality and business profit
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
- Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite
