The Sales Manager – Asia is responsible for:
· Meeting sales and expense targets for export region Asia
· Managing and ultimately responsible for the profitable sales of SDI’s products in accordance with the overall marketing plan and sales strategies for the region
· Conducting work in a safe manner and demonstrating a strong commitment to SDI’s values of passion, accountability, respect, teamwork, and innovation
· Directs the sales and marketing activities of SDI to achieve short- and long-term business objectives, increased profit, and market growth
· Reviews and improves the sales service functions as required
· Plans, controls, and directs activities of distributors and BDM to obtain maximum sales volume and recommends changes
· Directs the efforts of clinical education, including internal and external clinical affairs objectives
· Directs trade show efforts and work with the distributors and BDM to fulfil trade show objectives
· Directs and coordinates business forecasting and pricing to meet yearly and long-term objectives
· Directs and monitors advertising development, website, and all other marketing functions essential to gain product leadership in all product groups and markets
· Provides leadership in the building of relationships with key customers, including distributors, corporate, government and dental school accounts to fulfil sales and marketing objectives
· Directs the activities of working with key opinion leaders and continuing education teaching institutions
· Ensures that products are marketed and sold in accordance with the budgeted objectives to obtain maximum profitability

Job Environment
· Working hours: Full time, weekends as necessary (trade shows, events, etc)
· Local, interstate, and international travel as required. This is expected to be approximately 50% overnight.
Essential Qualification/ Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree preferred
· 10 years sales experience in relevant field (dental preferred)
· 10+ years functional lead experience in Sales
· Proven experience working with dental distribution partners
