We’re looking for a dental technician for our design team. In this role, you will be vital to improving patient oral health by designing dental prostheses and implants. You’ll play an important role in the process of building dental hardware to improve quality of life for our patients.
Your responsibilities include:
- Designing intricate digital 3D full arch and implant models in Exocad.
- Communicating and collaborating with other departments to ensure the accurate production of the dental prosthetic.
- Making modifications and adjustments to the digital model as required to meet the needs of the patient.
- Testing the fit and functionality of the dental prosthetic particularly ensuring that all designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Maintaining accurate records of the design process.
- Staying current with the latest technology and advancements in the dental industry.
- Maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality control to ensure that the dental hardware meets the patient’s needs and expectations.
- Providing technical support to dental technicians and other departments.
About You
You're down to earth and thrive in a supportive team. You will bring the following with you to be successful in this role:
- Experience in dental CAD design, with a strong portfolio of successful projects
- Proficiency in dental CAD design software, such as 3Shape or Exocad and 3D printing technology
- Ability to produce precise and accurate designs that fit perfectly and function properly
- Ability to identify and resolve technical issues and find creative solutions to complex design problems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Expert understanding of dental anatomy and implantology
- Strong interest in the field of dental technology and a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements.
- Degree or diploma in dental technology, CAD/CAM, or a related field is preferred.
