About Osteon Medical

We are a designer and manufacturer of patient-specific dental implants and prosthetics. We’re looking for dental technicians for our finishing team across ceramics, acrylic and metal. In this role, you will be vital to improving patient oral health by fabricating fixed and removable prostheses and implants. You’ll play an important role in building dental hardware to improve quality of life for our patients.

Your responsibilities include:

• Constructing prostheses by following dental prescriptions and quality control
• Polishing and hand finishing dental appliances prior to its being dispatched for placement in the patient's mouth by the dentist
• Reading specifications to determine the design of dental products to be developed
• Polishing surfaces of prosthetic metals with the aid of polishing tools
• Creating documentation in our computer system including reports, logs, and records
• Identify, own, and resolve any customer and operational issues to drive continuous improvement
• Safety including review of risks/hazards and ensuring these are appropriately dealt with

About You

You're down to earth and thrive in a supportive team. You will bring the following with you to be successful in this role:

• Diploma in dental technology or similar
• 12 months + in the dental industry in a similar environment
• Excellent understanding of dental anatomy
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to establish rapport with team members and customers
• Flexibility and adaptability to change and assist in the introduction of new systems and technologies
