In 2023 we are expanding our team! As our boutique dental clinic grows we are looking for new team members to come on the journey with us! We have two dental assistant opportunities - Experienced and a Certificate III Traineeship.

Our clinic provides:

• General Dentistry
• Paediatric Care
• General Anaesthetics, IV Sedation, Nitrous
• Full mouth treatments including cosmetics, whitening, dentures and Implants
• Oral Health Therapy and Periodontics

Pure Dentistry is a 20 min Drive from Brisbane CBD located in a busy shopping centre with free, secure, undercover staff parking. Our underlying vision is to provide our patients with the gold standard in dental care.

The "Experienced" Opportunity

Are you highly motivated to expand your skills for advanced treatments; including paediatrics, cosmetics, implants, patient coordination? Do you want diversity and to learn to assist dentists under IV and in General Anaesthetic sessions?

As a core team member of the Pure Dentistry clinic no day will be the same with a scope that includes both Adult and Children including General Anaesthetic sessions in hospital. 

For this position you will arrive with batteries included! You are highly motivated to sharpen your skills. You are a team player that loves to be organised and proactive about your day. We are looking for a dynamic DA committed to learning and evolving within our team. 

We love seeing our people grow, with opportunities to advance your career within our practice. Training will be provided for periodontics, dental implants, surgical setup, paediatrics, IV sedation and general anaesthetic sessions plus patient coordination.

You will bring with you a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a dental assistant with NO limitations for hospital credentialing (Minimum Certificate III in Dental Assisting with current First Aid Certificate and Covid-19 immunisation will be required to complete accreditation with hospitals for General Anaesthetic sessions). You are competent in General dentistry including surgical extractions and Root Canal Therapy and able to confidently support dental care from the beginning to end. 

This is a Full-time position of 76 hours per fortnight.

The "Traineeship" Opportunity

Learn on the job a role that offers diversity every day! Expand your caring nature into a clinical dental assisting role that includes sterilisation duties, chairside assisting for cleans, fillings and lab work and as you expand your knowledge into extractions, crown/bridge work, Root Canals and cosmetics. Customer service and reception tasks are a part of your learning to provide an all-round position.

This role will be based on part-time hours with flex to full-time with a paid Certificate III traineeship. You must be keen to align with infection control practices and always in a learning mindset ready to get hands on with a range of treatments and patients.

• Both roles require flexibility to operate within the working hours which are typically rostered between the hours of 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM / 8:00 PM on weekdays, and occassional weekend work (Saturday/Sunday)
