Position Summary

Docklands Dental Studio is seeking an experienced Part-Time Dental Assistant to support our clinical team in delivering high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will assist with chairside procedures, maintain clinical standards, and ensure a smooth patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during general and cosmetic dental procedures

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise instruments in accordance with infection control standards

• Manage patient records and appointments using Dental4Windows (D4W) software

• Greet patients and provide excellent customer service

• Assist with stock control and ordering of dental supplies

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised clinical environment

• Support front desk duties when required

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 1 year dental assisting experience in Australia

• Certificate III in Dental Assisting (required)

• Experience using D4W (Dental4Windows) software

• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Professional presentation and a positive attitude

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Availability Required

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm

• Saturday: 8:30 am – 3:00 pm

Salary

• $29 – $35 per hour, based on skills and experience
