As a front office coordinator, you will be the first point of contact to our wonderful patients and will ensure the smooth operation of the front desk and administrative aspects of the practice. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the dental setting, and even better, be qualified and willing to work in a nursing capacity if required.

Some key responsibilities for this role include:
This is a full time 38 hour - 4 day per week role.
Greet and assist patients with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
Build growth for the practice by creating amicable and genuine relationships with our patients.
Schedule and manage appointments, and optimize the dentist's schedule.
Process health insurance claims and take payments, handle billing inquiries and record keeping.
Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
Keep the reception area organized, well-stocked, and tidy.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care and participate in morning meetings.
Effectively communicate with patients, referring physicians, and dental labs.
Address patient concerns and resolve scheduling conflicts.
Assist with administrative tasks, including record-keeping and office correspondence.

For this position, we are searching for a candidate with permanent, ongoing, full-time working rights in Australia. Dental Assisting and customer service experience is a must. There is also scope to move into a more senior role. Salary and working days/hours will be discussed at the interview. Remuneration is based on competence and experience of the successful candidate.
